Subject: Vamos Stingy on my Doggy Bag
Last night I had dinner at Vamos, Stuyvesant Town's favorite over-priced taqueria (but hey, it's decent and convenient). Got a little stuffed on the appetizers, so I ended up getting more than half my entree wrapped up to go. Left untouched: two tacos, a corn-on-the-cob quarter, one madura. Slightly picked at: rice & beans, the second of my maduras (half eaten).
I was very excited to tear into the whole thing for lunch today, but I just opened the container and noticed they only put in the two tacos and the rice & beans. Crushing. Are there rules about this sort of thing? I would think that restaurants would err on the side of caution, and just toss in whatever was on the plate. Or maybe leave out the picked-at sides, but still, that would only really exile my half-madura. Curious as to the thoughts of those with experience in the "Can I have this wrapped?" field.
