To wrap up our threepart Eater Inside extravaganza, we have Dirt Candy, the little sliver of a space that just opened up on East 9th Street. The name itself merits a spot on our annual Worst Named Restaurant list (it is referencing the "candy" of the earth), but the concept and size could work for the naighborhood. The chef here is Amanda Cohen from Pure Food & Wine and, as expected, she's put together a vegetarian menu that may lack the meat but is heavy on the pasta, cheese, grits, and something called a kimchi doughnuts.
