FLATIRON— Flea Dell, co-owner of The Hog Pit, writes in with some clarifications on the upcoming relocation: "I wanted to make it known that the new Hog Pit will be focused on serving fun southern food. Not, I repeat NOT serious BBQ. Of course will have our famous 'fall off the bone' ribs. We will also have more southern specialties and an awesome 'fun' Bar Menu...We will also expand our dessert menu to include many more items, all homemade. We're even making our own Mozzarella Stix! No frozen bar food for us! I'm very excited to introduce theses new menus. I hope the public will give us a chance to perfect our menus and even suggest things they might like...We have no intention of trying to compete with Hill Country's excellent BBQ..." [EaterWire]
