It's a Bottega Takover at Bergdorf Goodman

Having well wrapped up their ode to Lanvin of earlier this month, Bergdorf Goodman has turned the tables to focus not on clothing from a single label, but housewares. Currently occupying the 5th Avenue windows is the home line of Italian brand Bottega Veneta, complimented by a few choice Bottega garments to tie it all in.

Bergdorf's fascination with the Bottega home line goes deeper than just the windows, as they've ceded prime store floor property to showcasing the collection, which, it should be noted, isn't exactly anything new. Says Wallpaper of the BV bonanza in BG:

Supplementing Veneta’s main floor fashion and accessory concessions, Creative Director Tomas Maier has produced a full 7th floor retail take over. Regular residence of the homes department, the entirety of Veneta’s Living collection has been artfully littered around the space.

We suppose if people aren't buying the clothes, then why not try to sell them an end table instead? If you fancy a little woven leather in every corner of your abode—even as a motif on your china— then perhaps this move can be appreciated like a museum installation; it sure beats trekking out to Red Hook to drool over IKEA room sets.
