Sizzlin': NYC Represents in S.I. Swimsuit Issue

The much-anticipated Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue confirms what we've known for decades: New York women are hot.

Two lovely ladies from the Big Apple grace the magazine's sexiest edition of the year: Damaris Lewis and Jessica White.

A native Brooklynite, the 19-year-old Lewis began her modeling career while attending the LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, where she's now a dance major.

The 5"9 beauty has worked with a multitude of high-fashion names, including V, French Vogue, Victoria's Secret, Benetton and Saks, and strutted her stuff on various runways. It's the second time Lewis has sizzled in an S.I. swimsuit edition, and we're hoping for a third.

Then there's Jessica White, a 5"9 knockout from Buffalo who moved to the city at age 14 to pursue her dream of being a model. White spent some time in Paris, doing shows for Ralph Lauren and Oscar de la Renta, among other designers, and signed a contract with Maybelline in 2007. The 25-year-old stunner is also the first African-American model to appear in seven Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues.

And, of course, S.I. Swimsuit cover girl Brooklyn Decker shares the borough's name.

Coincidence? We think not.
