Even More Wainwright Merriment

Sister to Rufus and Martha and daughter of Loudon Wainwright III and Suzzy Roche (of the Roches), Lucy Wainwright Roche will take the stage at Joe's Pub as part of the Public's never-ending 10th anniversary celebration. The McGarrigle clan (Kate and Anna, Rufus and Martha) will be performing their annual McGarrigle Christmas Hour at Carnegie Hall in December with guests such as Lou Reed and Emmylou Harris. Lucy, who grew up in Greenwich Village and now resides in Brooklyn, hits Joe's post-New Year's hangover on January 3, doing a solo show (which might just be confusing for the other side of the family, who never seem to roll less than four McGarrigles deep). There are at least three Roches (besides mom Suzzy, aunts Maggie and Terre are musicians as is uncle David) she could have called up and she did a duet with Martha Plimpton on her second EP "8 More" (which followed "8 Songs"). Isn't it sweet how the holidays bring families together?
