TABLE FOR ONE: Supper club founders and “Forking Fantastic” authors Zora O’Neill and Tamara Reynolds teach a black-hearted Anti-Valentine’s Day Dinner class at Brooklyn Kitchen. Learn to confit duck legs, roast radishes, make Fergus Henderson's duck hearts on toast and more. If you can’t get a date with kitchen skills like that, there’s something wrong with you. 6:30PM.

CRAZY HEARTS: Continuing the love-sucks theme, for PowerHouse Arena’s Anti-Valentine's Day Party, Jonathan Ames emcees a timely round-robin reading of poetry about and inspired by breakups, tied in to the release of the Jerry Williams-edited poetry anthology “It’s Not You, It’s Me: The Poetry of Breakup.” Come by to hear words funny, wise, uplifting and downright bitter from contributors like Bob Hicok, Donna Masini, and Mark Halliday. Bonus: Where there are dejected poets, there’s booze. 7PM.

EXOTIC DANCING: “Jai Ho” your way to fitness – for real – at Urban Girl Squad’s Intro to Bollywood dance class. Learn the fundamentals of Pop Bhangra dancing and the famous Indian folk dance called Bollywood (which we thought was just what they called the movie biz in India) from Dhoonya Dance Company (you may have seen them shake their moneymakers on Oprah). And consider that this is some of the most calorie-busting dancing on the planet: You’ll burn about 500. 7PM.
