The Line Between Art and Porn

Hell if we know where it is -- that's what the 6th Annual CineKink Film Fest is here for

Whether your idea of raunch is more Jean-Luc Godard (vague erotica, lots of close-ups of sad people smoking) or more John Holmes (if you don't know what we mean, we can't help you), let your inner filmmaker run (very, very) wild and you might get featured at the 6th Annual CineKink Film Fest, taking place in New York City Feb. 14 to March 1, 2009. What should you film? Well, the festival organizers want to give you as wide a berth as possible: "documentary to drama, camp comedy to hot porn, mildly spicy to quite explicit … BDSM, leather and fetish, swinging, non-monogamy and polyamory, roleplay and gender bending…" In other words, anything that celebrates kink is fair game. Your, ah, entry must be postmarked by Nov. 15 to be eligible. Go to cinekink.com/entries to apply. So why are you still reading this? Get cracking! What with the impending recession causing a 25 percent spike in the sex-toy retail business (so says editzilla Bonnie Fuller, ICYMI) this should be a particularly fruitful year for CineKink.

Speaking of which, anyone going to see Zack and Miri Make a Porno next week - or as I like to call it, the latest entry in the Schlubby Losers Scoring Hot Girlfriends canon?
