Sports Museum Cuts Price for Super Bowl Weekend

Admission drops to $10 for three days

Although New York doesn't have a team in the Super Bowl this weekend, the Sports Museum of America is getting into the spirit and offering deep discounts to its admission prices this weekend.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday adults can get into the museum for $10 (instead of the normal $16) while children (ages 6-15,) will cost on $5 (instead of $9.) Children up to 5 years old are always admitted for free.

The only catch is that you need to be wearing some sort of gear for your favorite professional team, but it doesn't even have to be football.

The Sports Museum, which opened in the Financial District in May, earlier this year dropped its admission to $16 from $24.

The museum is an interactive multi-sport spectacle that also serves as the permanent home to the Heisman Trophy. It's located at 26 Broadway, across the street from Arturo Di Modica's famous Charging Bull statue.
