Hey There Manhattan, the Plain White T's Are Coming!

Katie Lutz

Hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, the rock-pop band will hit the stage of the Blender Theater at Gramercy April 17th.

The band started in 1997, 10 years before their break-out hit “Hey there Delilah” reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. They also received a Grammy nomination for the song.

And it wasn’t just a hit in the states, “Delilah” also topped the charts in ten different countries.

Since then members Tom Higgenson, Dave Tirio, Mike Retondo, Tim Lopez and De’Mar Hamilton have split their time between recording and the road.

They returned in 2008 with “Big Bad World” featuring the hit single “1,2,3,4.”

Riding on the wave of a new CD, the Plain White T’s is touring the nation on it’s “Three Part Harmony” tour with appearances by Danger Radio and Single Fire.
