For those always on the lookout for their next dessert fix, word of two new options come down the pipeline this week. First up, the al fresco party space above Le Bain, the club atop The Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District, is now serving gelato at its existing "crepe cabana." Open at 2 p.m. daily, the stand will sell a rotating selection of gelato and sorbet from The Standard Grill's pastry chef Frederick Aquino.
Meanwhile, a few blocks downtown in the West Village, Dolce Vizio will debut the Italian, tiramisu-focused answer to the frozen yogurt craze next week. Both classic and modern versions will be available, along with the option of build-your-own tiramisu. [The Feast; Urban Daddy]
