Colorado coach Tad Boyle called Monday’s shooting in Boulder, Colorado, a “senseless act of violence” and offered condolences to families affected after his Buffaloes lost to Florida State in a second-round NCAA Tournament game.

One of the victims was a police officer. Police responded to a shooting at a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colo., on Monday. The suspect, a 21-year-old male, is in custody.
