The case of an ex-convict charged with forcing some college students into prostitution after moving in on campus with his daughter has raised questions about the screening and security of student housing

Lawrence Ray, previously known for his role in helping to send former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik to prison, pleaded not guilty to all charges on Wednesday.

The man accused of running a sex cult out of his daughter’s NY college dorm room pleaded not guilty to all charges. Larry Ray is also known as the informant who tipped off authorities leading to Bernie Kerik’s arrest. NBC New York’s Gus Rosendale reports.

Lawrence Ray — the federal informant whose information helped lead to the arrest of former NYPD commissioner Bernie Kerik — has been arrested by the FBI on sex trafficking and other charges, according to the FBI and U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.
