JAY TEST: Rangers Moments: Stumble Out The Gate

With the Texas Rangers' 2013 season long-gone in the rear-view, let's take a look at some of the season's defining moments, both good and bad, in a season that ultimately fell short of the Rangers' expectations.

Moment: The Rangers stumbled into the all-star break, and things didn't get any better coming out of the break.

When/Where: July 19-21, Arlington

What: July was a fairly disastrous month for the Rangers, and the brunt of their funk was sandwiched around the all-star break. Coming out of the gates looking for a fresh start, the Rangers were swept at home by the Baltimore Orioles — all games that were within reach of the Rangers and got away late. The one bright spot for the Rangers? They did hold former bust turned Triple Crown contender Chris Davis to basically nothing.
