If you're walking in Midtown and spy a group of robotic women dressed to the nine with laptops in their hands, it's okay to stare.

Much to the surprise of some shoppers around town, live mannequins are taking to the streets.

The mannequins are dressed in the work of up and coming fashion designers and armed with the new Sony Vaio, which rolled out to stores across the nation this week.

The live mannequins are professional dancers -- and keep an eye out for them. They'll be promoting the new laptop at various locations in the city through Saturday. You can also track the models' whereabouts and watch video of them at each stop.
