NBC 4’s daily one-hour, live lifestyle and entertainment show has a new name – “New York Live.”

After more than two years on air covering celebrities and red carpet events, food stars and restaurants, as well as hot fashion trends, "LX New York" has broadened its scope, said Morgan Hertzan, the general manager for LX.TV.

“'LX New York' is a vibrant live show with a loyal viewership that tunes in and actively participates in our show every day,” Hertzan said. " And now our new name, 'New York Live,' reflects what the show has become -- all about the very best of New York everyday."

The new show debuts Thursday.

"New York Live" is jointly produced by NBC Local Media subsidiary LX.TV and NBC 4 and focused on topics important to women in the New York area.

NBC 4 veteran Jane Hanson and Sara Gore host the show, which airs weekdays at 5 p.m. on NBC 4 and repeats twice daily on New York Nonstop.

Recent guests have included chef Mario Batali, the Kardashians, Joan Rivers, Julianne Moore and Michael Buble.
