Fort Dix Plot Case Jury Deliberates for 5th Day

Eight women and four men deciding the fate of a group of men accused of planning to attack soldiers on Fort Dix have resumed their work for a fifth day.

The New Jersey jury is sequestered as they deliberate in Camden. They began deliberating at 8:30 Sunday morning. On Saturday, they told the judge they're getting along.

In their first 30 hours of deliberations, jurors asked to see two transcripts of testimony.

The five defendants are all foreign-born Muslim men who lived for years in the Philadelphia suburb of Cherry Hill. They're charged with conspiring to kill military personnel and attempted murder. They would face life in prison if they've convicted on those charges.

None of the men testified in their trial, but their lawyers say they were not plotting anything.
