On August 15th, 2015 NBC 4 New York and Telemundo 47 partnered with dozens of shelters throughout the region to help find thousands of animals permanent loving homes. “Clear the Shelters” Day, an initiative by NBC-owned stations to help nearly 20,000 animals get adopted and find forever homes.
