On Tuesday, the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swim Team headed off to a San Antonio, Texas training camp before another camp in Atlanta, Georgia. Finally, around August 2, they’ll head to Rio de Janeiro for the opening of the Olympic Games.
Most of the athletes posted sweet goodbyes to their hometowns and friends on social media, while others were excited to have extra leg room on their flights:
