Report: Mobley's heart issue holds up Knicks-Clippers trade

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Last week's trade between the New York Knicks and Los Angeles Clippers is reportedly being held up due to concerns about Cuttino Mobley's heart.

On Friday, the Knicks sent forward Zach Randolph and guard Mardy Collins to the Clippers for Mobley and forward Tim Thomas.

ESPN reported that Mobley was to see a heart specialist on Tuesday and that the teams have until 6:30 p.m. (et) later in the day to go over test results and agree to the deal or not.

Because of the deal not being finalized, Randolph and Collins didn't play Monday night when the Clippers were beaten, 99-87, at home by New Orleans.

In exchange for Randolph, the Knicks are due to receive the Clippers' fourth- leading scorer this season in Mobley, who has posted 13.7 points per game in 11 contests. Thomas has averaged 9.5 points and 4.6 rebounds in 10 games.
