NBA Game Summary – Milwaukee at New Jersey

East Rutherford, NJ (Sports Network) - Vince Carter had a triple-double, while Brook Lopez posted 22 points and a game-high 12 rebounds as New Jersey eased by Milwaukee, 99-85, at IZOD Center.

Carter finished with 15 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds and Devin Harris and Ryan Anderson each had 19 points for the Nets, who have won back-to-back games after a three-game losing streak. Keyon Dooling added 18 points off the bench.

Richard Jefferson notched a game-best 27 points for the Bucks, who saw their two-game win streak halted and who have dropped three of five. Ramon Sessions scored 19 points and Charlie Villanueva poured in 11 in the loss.

After Luke Ridnour's free throws with 6:52 left in the third quarter brought the Bucks within 59-51, New Jersey embarked on an 11-4 run to go ahead by 15 with 3 1/2 minutes to play in the quarter.

Carter connected for four points during the burst, while Harris drained a three and completed the clip with two from the charity stripe for a 70-55 advantage.

Charlie Bell's trey cut Milwaukee's deficit to seven, but the Nets led 74-63 heading to the fourth.

The Bucks made it interesting early in the final quarter, scoring the first seven points to come within 74-70. However, Dooling's shot from long distance pushed the Nets' edge back to seven with 7:16 to play and Milwaukee couldn't mount a comeback.

A Lopez jumper with 3:14 to play once again gave the home team a 15-point advantage, 93-78, and the Nets cruised to the win.

The Nets enjoyed a 23-16 edge after one quarter, then extended their advantage to eight early in the second quarter. Lopez scored seven points in the quarter and Harris finished off the half with a pair of free throws for a 45-37 score.
