Buff up the abs, break out the spray tan and make sure your hair poof is riding high at the Brooklyn Cyclones game tonight.
The Cyclones have a whole night dedicated to the Seaside Heights phenomenon that is the "Jersey Shore." The team will be giving away special jerseys with the words "Jersey? Sure!" featuring Sandy the Seagull paying homage to the MTV reality show.
"Jersey? Sure!" night will also feature Dugout Dance Battles for fans to show off their moves to techno music and compete against each other every inning. There will also be GTL (gym, tan, laundry) giveaways. Yes, you'll be able to win gift certificates to get your laundry done. Stylists will also be at the stadium to make sure your hair is all nice and poofed up with what the Cyclones are calling "Baseball Blowouts."
The Cyclones GM, Steve Cohen who also goes by the nickname of "The Perspiration" says the Coney Island shore is the best in the Tri-State area but he's willing to give The Jersey Shore its due...at least for one night.
The Cyclones have also invited Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino who used to try to get the girls by telling them he was the back-up third baseman for the team.
So his appearance could truly make it a Weiner Wednesday. (which it actually is!)
The first 2,500 in the door will get the special "Jersey? Sure!" jersey.
