Islanders goaltender MacDonald exits game

Uniondale, NY (Sports Network) - New York Islandersgoaltender Joey MacDonald left Tuesday's game versus the crosstown rival Rangers with an undisclosed injury.

Less than five minutes into the first period, MacDonald made a save and the whistle blew. The goaltender then remained on the ice and trainers helped him to the locker room.
