Doing Lines: Tim's (Near) Triple-Double

Every night there are some stupendous, silly, stupid, or downright outlandish individual lines from around the lig. Doing Lines lets you know which one tops the list.

Tim Duncan almost Tuesday night in New Jersey

Duncan finished with a game-high 27 points, a game-high nine rebounds, and a game-high eight assists, as well as four blocks -- which happened to be more than every other Net and Spur combined. An encore performance from Matt Bonner (22 points, 8-10 shooting) helped, but this was Tim Duncan's world.

He's Going to Hurt Someone!: Lamar Odom didn't shoot particularly well against Oklahoma City (12 points on 17 FGAs), but he had a whopping 18 rebounds. Odom has had three 14-plus rebound games in the five matches since Andrew Bynum went down; he had zero in the 43 prior. Minutes are a big part of that, but don't sleep on Odom's ability to soak up some of Young 'Drew's responsibilities up front.

Explosions in the Bay: Did I call this one? (Like it was hard.) If you like offense, get on League Pass Broadband and dial this sucker up. It will be the one that reads "Warriors 144, Knicks 127." Each team had roughly 105 possessions; the squads combined for only 24 turnovers (a bit amazing). New York shot 54% from the floor and 41% from three; Golden State shot 55% total and from deep. Corey Maggette took 16 FGAs and two FTAs in 20 minutes! Anthony Randolph scored 12 points in 14 minutes! Tim Thomas only played nine minutes! Life is beautiful ...
