Trade-Depleted Knicks Get Bucked

Marbury refuses to play

Charlie Villanueva tied a season high with 20 points in his return from injury, and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the suddenly trade-depleted New York Knicks 104-87 on Friday night.

Chris Duhon scored a season-high 20 for the Knicks, who dressed the league-minimum eight players after trading away three players in a pair of deals earlier Friday. Out the door were New York's top two scorers, Zach Randolph and Jamal Crawford, along with guard Mardy Collins.

Milwaukee's Andrew Bogut had 14 points and 17 rebounds. Rookie Luc Richard Mbah a Moute added eight points and 13 rebounds -- including 10 in the first quarter -- for the Bucks, who broke a three-game losing streak.

Stephen Marbury didn't help matters any. Coach Mike D'Antoni said Marbury refused to play when he asked the player to step up for the trade-depleted team, according to the New York Post.
