Cornerback Terrell Thomas Re-Signs With Giants, 2 Coaches Added

Thomas missed last season with a knee injury.

Cornerback Terrell Thomas has re-signed with the Super Bowl-champion Giants.

Thomas, who missed last season with a knee injury, tweeted that he will be back with the team Tuesday, hours before free agency started.

The 27-year-old Thomas was injured in a preseason game. He had five interceptions in 2010.

Tom Coughlin also completed his coaching staff, announcing the hiring of Matt Rhule as assistant offensive line coach and Lunda Wells as the team's offensive assistant.

Rhule, who spent the past six seasons at Temple, replaces Jack Bicknell Jr., who left to become the Kansas City Chiefs' offensive line coach. Wells, who had been at LSU since 2008, takes over for Kevin M. Gilbride, who was promoted to receivers coach after Sean Ryan was named the quarterbacks' coach.
