In the months following the 2016 Summer Olympics, the facilities of Rio de Janeiro's Olympic Village have fallen into disuse and disrepair. The stadiums, used to hold the competitions for 11,237 athletes from Aug. 5-21, are now husks of their former selves as Olympic organizers struggle to find private management for the properties. Rio organizers still owe creditors about $40 million.
