Mark Sanchez: “I Swear It Wasn't Me”

No, it definitely wasn't Mark Sanchez who held up a Southern California bank

Upon further review, there is indisputable surveillance video evidence that Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez did not hold up a Southern California bank.

Manhattan Beach police said the man in the Jets No. 6 jersey -- it had "Sanchez" printed on the back -- robbed a Chase bank branch. The balding man with slicked back hair wasn't fooling anyone with this quarterback sneak.

"I'm being set up. I swear it wasn't me," Sanchez posted on Twitter.

The former USC quarterback added the hashtag, #worstframejobever.

The holdup occurred shortly before 9 a.m. Monday at 201 Manhattan Beach  Blvd. The subject entered the bank, presented the teller with a note demanding  money and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

The bandit was described as a balding white man about 60-65 years old  and 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a heavy build.

Police asked that anyone with information about the case call 310-802-5171.
