Knicks, Clippers complete trade

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Last week's trade between New York and Los Angeles Clippers was finalized Tuesday afternoon after being delayed reportedly due to concerns the Knicks had about Cuttino Mobley's heart.

On Friday, the Knicks sent forward Zach Randolph and guard Mardy Collins to the Clippers for Mobley and forward Tim Thomas.

Multiple reports indicated that concerns about Mobley's heart delayed the completion of the deal. He reportedly visited a heart specialist on Tuesday, but Mobley was not expected to play in tonight's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

In exchange for Randolph, the Knicks received the Clippers' fourth-leading scorer this season in Mobley, who has posted 13.7 points per game in 11 contests. Thomas, who came into Tuesday averaging 9.5 points and 4.6 rebounds, came off the bench in Tuesday's game.
