Knicks G Robinson exits early against Hawks

Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - New York Knicksguard Nate Robinson left Friday's 98-95 defeat to the Atlanta Hawks in the second half with an apparent groin injury.

Robinson, who missed the previous four games because a similar injury, had the groin tighten up late in the third quarter. The guard went to the locker room and did not return after logging four points and three assists in limited action.

"I'm worried about [the injury]," said Knicks head coach Mike D'Antoni following the game. "We don't want to push him too much, but at the same time he'll get through it. It tightened up at halftime, it's not something he pulled."

Robinson came into the game averaging 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists this season.
