Tiger Woods and Obama to Tee It Up Soon

When it comes to golf, I dare you to think of a more famous twosome than this one.

Tiger Woods, who was in Washington D.C. for the inauguration celebration for Barack Obama, got a few minutes to chat with the president-to-be, and offered him the ultimate White House gift. A round with Tiger himself.

"He was very busy, so we didn't get to talk much," Woods said of Obama. "I didn't want to get in his way. I did ask him if he wanted to play golf and he said, 'I'd love to.' So we'll make it happen. I think the thing that impressed me the most about him was the way he carries himself. He has great leadership qualities, and his accomplishment truly embodies what's best about America. He represents what we as Americans have in common, not perceived differences."

Tiger, can I suggest something? Maybe before you guys go out on the course, you could give the Leader of the Free World a lesson? And maybe see if Tiger's coach Hank Haney isn't busy because it wouldn't hurt to have him around for that loop-da-doop of a golf swing.

I'm also interested to see if this will be just the two of them or if they will invite some others to join the pair. I'm thinking, if you were looking to go all power, maybe Michael Jordan and Will Smith? Or you could put Charles Barkley in place of Will just so Barack isn't the worst golfer in the group. Or have the worst swing.

And then I'd hope that Tiger wouldn't mind playing some hoops with Barack after the round. Talk about a YouTube sensation ...
