Mayor Michael Bloomberg predicts Gang Green will go to the Super Bowl this year.
The mayor said on his radio show Friday that you heard it from him first.
The Jets face the New England Patriots this Sunday in the divisional playoffs. The highly anticipated game is a rematch for Gang Green, who got clobbered by the Patriots 45-3 in their last meeting -- the worst loss for the Jets in more than two decades.
The winner of that game will play either Baltimore or Pittsburgh in the AFC championship, the victor in which heads to the Super Bowl is Feb. 6.
