Astronaut Scott Kelly may have had a tough time following the action at the Bears vs. Packers game Sunday, but he captured a one-of-a-kind view of Soldier Field from space.

Kelly tweeted the photo around noon when the season opener was just starting. The shot captures the skyline of Chicago from above, with a tiny oval where the Bears' stadium sits. The stunning view also captures the gorgeous deep blue of Lake Michigan on the sunny day.

The astronaut, who is spending one year in space, started the hashtag #SundayNFLStadiumPicFromSpace. His photo of Soldier Field marked his first one of the NFL season.

The Bears lost to the Packers 31-23.
