Aaron Hernandez Settles Lawsuit With Friend Who Was Shot

Former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez, a native of Bristol, Connecticut, has settled a lawsuit filed by a friend who said Hernandez shot him in the face.

Attorneys for East Hartford native Alexander Bradley said in court documents filed Friday in Miami federal court that the suit was settled, The Boston Globe reports.

Terms weren't disclosed and attorneys for both men could not be reached for comment.

Bradley was seeking damages for injuries he suffered in a February 2013 shooting after he and Hernandez left a Miami strip club.

The former Patriot is serving a life term for the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, who was dating the sister of Hernandez's fiancee.

Hernandez has also pleaded not guilty to murder charges in Boston, where he's accused of gunning down two men outside a nightclub in 2012.
