NBA Game Summary – New York at Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Andre Iguodala tallied 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 116-110 victory over the New York Knicks at the Wachovia Center.

Iguodala shot 9-of-18 from the field for the Sixers, who have won eight of nine overall. Andre Miller posted 21 points, five assists and five rebounds, while Thaddeus Young had 17 points in the win.

Willie Green added 14 points, while Samuel Dalembert had 10 points to go with a game-high 17 rebounds, as Philadelphia beat the Knicks for the third time this season in as many tries.

Elton Brand returned for the 76ers after a 16-game absence due to a dislocated shoulder and tallied six points in 13 1/2 minutes.

Nate Robinson paced the Knicks with 26 points and six assists off the bench, while Tim Thomas chipped in 24 points, as New York had a three-game win streak halted. David Lee had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Chris Duhon tallied 18 points in the loss. Al Harrington added 12 points for the Knicks.

The Sixers held an 86-81 lead to start the fourth, and Lou Williams made it a 95-89 edge with 8:37 left after a couple free throws.

The Knicks scored the next nine points to take a 98-95 lead on Robinson's uncontested layup three minutes later.

Philadelphia answered with a 9-0 run, forging ahead by six thanks to a couple free throws from Dalembert with just over four minutes to go.

Iguodala completed an alley-oop with Dalembert with 1:03 left to put the hosts ahead, 112-106.

The Knicks closed to within two, 112-110, with 10.3 seconds left after a Robinson reverse layup, but Miller sank a couple free throws with 8.7 seconds to go, and the Sixers held on from there.

Igoudala scored nine points in the first three minutes, as Philadelphia jumped out to an 11-2 lead. He finished with 12 points in the quarter, and the 76ers held a 36-30 edge heading into the second.

Robinson tallied 14 points in the second quarter as the Knicks took a 66-63 lead at halftime.

New York led 77-76 with 4 1/2 minutes left in the third, but the Sixers scored six straight points to take a five-point lead. Philadelphia led, 86-81, after three quarters.
