NBA Game Summary – New York at Memphis

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Wilson Chandler poured in a career-high 27 points and hauled in seven rebounds as the Knicks made a franchise-record 19 three-pointers in a 132-103 shellacking of the Grizzlies at FedEx Forum.

Jamal Crawford added 25 points and eight assists for the Knicks, who have won four of their last five contests. Nate Robinson chipped in 21 points thanks to a 5-for-5 effort from behind the arc for New York, which tallied a season-high in points. Zach Randolph contributed 18 points and 10 boards in the win.

Rudy Gay scored 20 points for the Grizzlies, who have dropped three straight games. O.J. Mayo added 17 in defeat and Marc Gasol 16.

Memphis edged New York for a 24-23 lead after the first quarter.

The Grizzlies found themselves trailing the Knicks by one midway through the second stanza, but the visitors rattled off 11 unanswered points to pull away.

Randolph's layup sparked the run and Quentin Richardson's three-ball with 4:29 showing on the clock closed it out for a 47-35 Knicks lead. New York led by as many as 14 points in the frame, but held a 60-49 lead at the break.

A 9-3 Knicks run to begin the third gave New York a 69-52 lead with 10 minutes showing on the clock. Crawford accounted for the first six New York points and Randolph nailed a three to close it out.

Gasol interjected with a turnaround jumper, but New York outscored its counterparts 9-2 to take a 78-56 lead.

The Knicks eventually went into the fourth with a 95-77 lead.

An 8-1 run to open the fourth gave the Knicks a 103-78 lead with 10 1/2 minutes left in the contest. Chandler had the first six points for New York and Crawford added a jumper.

The Knickerbockers led by as many as 32 points, 125-93, following a three from Anthony Roberson with 3:50 left in the game.
