New Yorkers Still Have Time To Apply for Absentee Ballots

Applications must be postmarked by Nov. 3.

New York voters who'll be unable to get to the polls on Election Day still have time to get absentee ballots.

Applications for the ballots must be mailed to your county board of elections no later than this Tuesday, or hand-delivered by November 3rd. They're available at county board of elections offices and can be downloaded by clicking on "Absentee Voting" at www.elections.state.ny.us.

Completed absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by the county board of elections no later than November 11th.

Military voters have until November 17th for their ballots to be received. Absentee ballots may also be hand-delivered to the board of elections prior to the closing of the polls on Election Day.
