Two icons of the Woodstock generation are rocking out for Democrat Barack Obama in a Long Island park named for a prominent Republican.
David Crosby and Graham Nash are headlining a concert and rally before Wednesday night's presidential debate at Hofstra University.
The free concert is taking place at nearby Eisenhower Park from 3-7 p.m., just a mile or so from the Hofstra campus.
Other local performers are also scheduled to play, including Arlon Bennett, Francis Dunnery, John Hampson, the Jack Miller Band, Jeff Roberson & LIFE, Katy Pfaffl, Melissa Reyes, Ryan Star and John Getzler.
