Woman Arrested After Fighting, Kicking FHP Trooper at Deerfield Beach DMV

A Deerfield Beach woman was arrested after officials say she kicked a Florida Highway Patrol officer who was attempting to remove her from the Department of Motor Vehicles building.

The incident, which took place on Thursday at the Deerfield Beach DMV located at 100 South Military Trail, was captured on cell phone video.

NBC affiliate WPTV in West Palm Beach reports that 31-year-old Eleanore Stern was arguing with DMV employees, and the trooper was called in to remove her from the building.

In the video, Stern is seen kicking the officer in the groin area before he throws her to the ground.

Stern is seen continuing to writhe and kick at the officer who eventually subdues her and carries her away.

Stern was arrested but was released on bond. She is facing one count of resisting arrest without violence.

It is not known whether Stern has hired an attorney.
