“Twilight's” Stewart Getting Consideration for Action Hero Roles

Even though she’s used to hanging out with vampires, Kristen Stewart might be looking for a little more action in her acting life.

The “Twilight” star is possibly in the running to play a hacker in the big-screen adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” and could also be in the mix to be the new femme fatale in the sequel to 2008’s shoot-em-up, “Wanted,” according to CNN’s Marquee blog.

In regards to “Tattoo,” scheduling conflicts may keep Stewart from nabbing the prized role, which has reportedly been linked to Scarlett Johansson, Ellen Page and Carey Mulligan among others.

"I think I'm going to be working," Stewart said in an interview with MTV News. "I'm booked for, like, the next six months, but it's an incredible project. I hope someone really cool does it, because I can't wait to see it. But I don't know if it's going to be me."

Stewart mentioned that she’s yet to even have a meeting with “Tattoo” director, David Fincher, but things could eventually work out so that she could accept the slot.

“Who knows? Movies push all the time,” she said.

She’s also excited about starring alongside James McAvoy in “Wanted 2,” filling the role vacated by Angelina Jolie.

“‘Wanted’ was a great movie,” Stewart said to MTV. Would she be interested if offered?

"Definitely, she said. “As long as it was really good.”
