The “Super 8” Trailer Is Here and It Is Awesome

The first full-length trailer for writer-director J.J. Abrams' "Super 8" has finally arrived, bringing with it not an iota of disappointment.

When the first teaser dropped last summer, it looked fantastic, and this new clip builds on the action and drama. And it is absolutely brimming with imprint of Steven Spielberg, the film's producer.

And there's even an official synopsis:

“In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth — something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.”

The kids happen to be out on a shoot the night a train carrying some mysterious - and very angry - cargo for the U.S. Military gets derailed. Despite falling over on its side, the Super 8 camera catches most of the accident. But enough our blather, just watch it. The rest of "Super 8"  opens June 10.
