Survey: Most Dads Call Fatherhood “Most Important Job”

Three-quarters of fathers surveyed by NBC’s “Today” show said that being a dad is their most important job, and more than half (54 percent) said they change diapers. In a sign of the changing role of fatherhood, just 37 percent of fathers in a survey of 2,000 moms and dads said that their own fathers changed diapers. "Dads are more engaged with their kids than ever before," said Dana Glazer, a New Jersey father of three who created the documentary "The Evolution of Dad." But some fathers are still told “their value is their paycheck,” Glazer told “Today.” Click through for more results of the parenthood survey .
