Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott led the Cowboys to four scores on four possessions in the first half, giving Dallas a 24-3 halftime lead over the Chicago Bears.

Prescott was 12 of 15 for 139 yards and had one of three rushing touchdowns in the half. Lance Dunbar and Alfred Morris had the other two, giving the Cowboys seven rushing TDs for the season after they had eight all of last year, when they went 4-12.

The Cowboys, who are trying to snap an eight-game home losing streak, outgained the Bears 274-114 in the first half. Brian Hoyer made the start for Chicago in place of Jay Cutler, who was inactive with a sprained right thumb. Hoyer 8 of 12 for 71 yards.

Prescott, filling in with Tony Romo sidelined by a broken bone in his back, still doesn't have a touchdown pass. But he's up to 90 pass attempts without an interception to start his career. That's second to Philadelphia rookie Carson Wentz, who has 102. Those are the highest totals in NFL history.
