A day after the release of a scathing Senate report on the CIA's intelligence gathering techniques, outgoing Democratic Sen. Mark Udall of Colorado said the secretive agency is continuing to lie to Congress about past interrogation practices and that the White House is working with it "to cover up the truth," NBC News reported. "Director Brennan and the CIA today are continuing to willfully provide inaccurate information and misrepresent the efficacy of torture. In other words, the CIA is lying," Udall said on the Senate floor Wednesday. He said that the CIA's interrogation program was deeply flawed, but that the bigger problem is a continual effort by the CIA and White House to cover up the truth.
