Owen Wilson to be a First-Time Dad

Cue the “Little Focker” puns because Owen Wilson is gonna be a dad.

The mop-headed screen star and gal pal Jade Duell are expecting their first child, Wilson’s rep told entertainment news outlets on Monday.

The little one could be “due any day,” according to a secret source in Us mag, who also said Wilson, 42, has been excited to hit the baby books to research his next big role.

Wilson and Duell have reportedly been dating for over a year.

In the past, Wilson was romantically linked to Sheryl Crow, Demi Moore and Kate Hudson.

The baby news comes as Wilson is starring in “Little Fockers" and has a handful of projects on the burner for 2011.

Both “The Big Year”, opposite Jack Black, and “Hall Pass,” co-starring Jason Sudeikis, are in post-production, according to IMDB.

Back in August 2007, Wilson was hospitalized for what police wrote at the time was a suicide attempt. The “Wedding Crashers” star released a statement asking for privacy and has yet to open up about the incident.

It later emerged that Wilson had suffered bouts of depression.

Fast-forward three years and he’s said to be all about the prospect of first-time fatherhood.

Wilson is "very excited and involved with the pregnancy," according to Us' insider.
