Millionaire Matchmaker Single Again

There is an old saying that goes, "A carpenter's house is never finished."

Perhaps the same principle applies to the matchmakers.  Patti Stanger, the star of Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker" has been uniting couples in the highest tax bracket for two seasons, but she can't seem to get her own personal love project right.

She announced this week she is scrapping her wedding plans, Popeater reported.

Stanger broke the news of her break-up with real estate executive Andy Friedman via Twitter.  She wrote, "I just ended my relationship with Andy.  It hit me really hard that I wanted kids in my life.  You have to agree on the non-negotiables."

Stanger brings the third season of her matchmaking show from Los Angeles to New York City.  The newly-minted bachelorette so far has taken a dim view of the East Coast's dating prospects.

"I've never seen such a bare city in my life with so many people," she moaned to Popeater.  "Where are the hunters?"

The opinionated date-pusher also took shots at NYC's female population, saying that "hot girls in New York City don't exist."

With an attitude like that, the career couples adviser may need some professional help to move on from her ex-fiance.

Despite the negative outlook, the now solo flying Stanger recently found something she does love: the diet product Sensa.  "I lost 20 pounds!" she hawked to Popeater.
