House Republicans filed a long-threatened lawsuit Friday against President Barack Obama for his use of executive actions in implementing the Affordable Care Act, NBC News reported. The suit is centered on the White House decision to delay the employer mandate of the health care law, and comes the day after the president took executive action on immigration. House Republicans authorized a bill approving the legal action in a 225-201 vote in July, with no Democratic support.
