“Clinton Cash” Author: Yes, Evidence Is Circumstantial

The conservative author of the new book "Clinton Cash" has admitted in back to back interviews that he has no direct evidence Hillary Clinton intervened to help donors who gave generously to the Clinton Foundation — but he told NBC's Savannah Guthrie on "Today" Monday that he saw a "pattern of behavior" that merited an investigation. "I don't think a quid pro quo needs to be a standard," he said. Meanwhile, the Clinton Foundation's acting CEO acknowledged in a blog post Sunday that the foundation had made mistakes in its tax filings, and explained that some donations were disclosed differently because they were to a Canadian offshoot. Meanwhile, one big question remains for the foundation, NBC News' First Read team writes: Why is the Clinton Foundation taking any foreign money at all?
