Christie's New Job Gives Him National Influence

Fresh of his re-election, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was named Chairman of the Republican Governors Association Tuesday, NBC News reported. More than two dozen governors gathered in Arizona for a four-day meeting, through Friday. Republicans will be defending 22 of the 36 governor's seats up for re-election next year and for many it's a chance to boost the party's image. "I'm getting great response from donors and from fellow governors, Christie said. "So I'm looking forward to it. It's going to be a great year."
