Bristol Palin Graduates High School

Bristol Palin has graduated high school.

The 19-year-old daughter of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin received her high school diploma Thursday night -- but not before reportedly wandering across the stage and mouthing, "Where's my baby?"

The teen mom, wearing a necklace made of Blow-Pop lollipops and ribbon, stepped onto stage at the Wasilla Sports Complex to receive her hard-earned diploma and looked out at the rows of family members trying to spot her infant son, People magazine reported.

"Where's my baby?" she mouthed as searching the audience.

She finally caught a glimpse of baby Tripp near the backstage door where her aunt was feeding the baby with a bottle. Bristol then waved and crossed the stage.

"I knew it would be hard work, but I knew I was going to do it," she told People.

The teen mom graduated with a 3.497 GPA and lamented that she was "point zero-zero something" away form graduating with Honors, according to the magazine.

Mom Sarah Palin said in an earlier interview she was unsure whether her daughter would finish school once she heard the high schooler was pregnant.

"And that's why I'm so proud of her. ... really relieved," she said. "It's been a challenging and exciting year -- her senior year -- and I'm just so pleased that we are where we are today."

Bristol said she hopes to go to a local college for a two-year business degree and then work, possibly in real estate, People reported.

The father of Bristol's baby is a hockey-playing high school drop out whose very public breakup with Bristol created infighting between his family and the Palins. Bristol was accused of calling former beau Levi Johnston and his family trashy.

Johnston shot back by going on a media blitz designed at debunking was he said was the biggest misconception about him: That "my family's white trash," he said.

Johnston said during an interview with CBS's "The Early Show" in mid-April that he "wouldn't call any baby a mistake. I love him more than anything. I wouldn't trade him for the world."
